©2005 Pink Jeep ToursSEE ELDORADO CANYON, TECHATTICUP MINE OR THE OATMAN GHOST TOWN. DEPARTURES FROM LAS VEGAS.
The colorful history of the Old West comes to life in Eldorado Canyon, home to the famed Techatticup mine. On the short journey to this rustic site, you'll enjoy spectacular scenery: fields of teddy bear cholla, rare geologic formation, and excellent photo opportunity down near the banks of Lake Mojave, the blue jewel of this isolated desert terrain.
This is a wonderful tour to the famous London Bridge and Oatman Ghost town, the only Gold Mining town that didn’t die. Includes amazing viewing of Hoover Dam and Lake Mead, and then on through the beautiful southwest Mohave Desert to Kingman, Arizona, where many cowboy movies were filmed. So often used as a backdrop for the film industry with amazing rock formations that surround the town. Then on to see the great London Bridge in all its majesty and its relocation to America. You will enjoy visiting the many shops and the old London Pub. Then up Route 66 to the old Wild West Gold Mining town of Oatman, Arizona, the lone survivor of the many gold mining communities that sprang up during the Gold Rush days of the old west. Less than 100 years ago shootouts and feuds over gold and women were a regular way of life in this lawless community. Once you arrive at Oatman, you are free to enjoy the various sights that have made this town a favorite with tourists from all over the world.
