With an entertaining and knowledgeable guide at your side, you will travel through the beautiful North Shore and Lake Shore Drives of spectacular Lake Mead. You will see the lake in all it’s beauty and splendor and even see a sandy beach, right in the heart of the Mojave Desert.

As you experience the beauty of the Mojave Desert, you will see the beautiful black mountains and on occasion, wild mustang horses, desert burros, big horn sheep, coyotes, deer, as well as magnificent desert flowers in bloom.

On this unforgettable journey, you will visit Rogers Springs, where you will explore the waterfall, reeds and palm trees that surround this true desert oasis. This is no Mirage!!! Take a moment to see your reflection in the cool clear running springs.

But hold on, the best is yet to come…The Magnificent Valley of Fire, Nevada’s first state park. As you enter this unworldly place you will be at the bottom of what used to be an ancient ocean. You will see Aztec sandstone formations in fire engine red, with overwhelming valleys and gorges at every turn. These stunning formations were formed 150 million years ago.

Witness ancient Indian Petroglyphs up close. View, among many others, Elephant rock, Seven Sisters, Balancing Rock, and stone cabins built decades ago as a shelter for passing travelers. Then there is the incredible Rainbow Vista, with its multicolor mountains which will make your photo shoot one of the highlights of your trip.

After a short drive through the Moapa Indian Reservation, you will be back in your hotel in no time, basking in the memories of a true desert experience and the Mojave’s best kept secrets!

The tour is approximately 6 1/2 hours in duration. It is low impact and perfect for seniors!

Confirmation & Travel Voucher

For every confirmed booking you will receive an e-mail with a link to your E-Ticket Vouchers - when your booking is confirmed. Print both vouchers on your home/ office printer. Please present these E-Ticket vouchers at the Tour Office.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged a $10.00 per person administration fee. We charge for no shows. No Shows on tour dates are charged 100%. Some specific tours and activities have a higher cancellation fee due to the limited space available.
