We take you all the way up to 15,000 feet as this gives you the maximum allowable free-fall time. This is important to know as some companies charge "extra" for the height we already take you to.

You need to be 18 yrs of age with valid picture ID, weigh less than 240 lbs. (must be height and weight proportionate, some restrictions may apply) and be in generally good health. We can also usually accommodate people with some disabilities but please call for information.

All Las Vegas pickups are at the tour and travel entrance of the Monte Carlo Casino. Sorry but we cannot transport spectators. You can also drive to our facility.

Your Skydive

Upon arrival at our facility located off the Las Vegas Strip, you will be greeted by our courteous staff who will be with you each step of the way through completion of you skydive. We encourage you to ask questions throughout your time with us as we believe the only foolish question is the one nobody asks

To help you understand what to expect, the following information will provide some insight as to how the whole process works to make your day one you will remember forever...

Documentation

One of the first things you will do upon arrival is receive our pre jump documentation package. This will include such information as your weight (we have different sized parachutes so please be accurate), your date of birth, your driving license details, etc. as well as a waiver and release of liability form for your review. Although we do everything possible to ensure your (and our!) safety, there are inherent risks associated with skydiving and aviation related activities, and in order to participate it is important you understand and acknowledge this.

Training

Thanks to the nature of the tandem skydive the formal training required can be kept to a minimum as your personal tandem master will control the free-fall and the parachute decent. However there is some information and rules that you need to be familiar with to help with the safe outcome of the jump. By educating you as what to expect in the airplane, how to hold your body during free-fall and what to expect when the parachute opens your fears can be eased and your fun maximized.

Gearing Up

When we arrive at the drop zone you will be equipped with a jumpsuit, soft helmet, goggles and a harness. This will connect you to your instructors equipment prior to jumping. After being double-checked you will be led to the airplane and seat belted in ready for take off.

Airplane Ride and Jump

As the plane rolls down the runway and lifts off you can have pride in yourself that you have made a commitment to face a challenge and embark on one of life's truly special experiences. While you enjoy the beautiful views of Mount Charleston, Red Rock Canyon and the Las Vegas Strip the pilot will be guiding the plane to our jump altitude over 2 miles above the earth. As jump time approaches your instructor will give you one final check and then via 4 attachment points secure you to his equipment (each upper attachment is capable of holding 5000 lbs.)

When the door finally opens and you exit the aircraft most of our students say their fears stay in the plane and the feeling they are left with they describe only as indescribable!!!

For over 45 seconds falling at speeds in excess of 120 MPH you will finally understand why the birds sing!

The Parachute Descent

All too quickly you will find the parachute opening and your adrenaline charged free-fall transitions into a quite peaceful parachute decent, where you and your instructor can talk and share the moment with you. During the 5-7 minutes it takes to reach the ground your instructor can provide either a sedate gentle ride to the ground or a more radical roller coaster experience demonstrating spins and stalls as he skillfully takes you to our landing area.

And then...

Prior to your return to your hotel you will receive your certificate of completion ready for framing. For those of you who are interested in watching the parachutes being re-packed or if you are just curious about maybe taking classes then our staff will be on hand to assist you in any way possible.

Optional Video and Photography Packages

Our video services are provided on digital format to ensure the highest quality possible. Your DVD will be edited with music and special effects to create your own 'MTV' style video.

Skydiving FAQ's

Q.) What is it like to skydive?
A.) You have try it to find out! It's like nothing else you've ever experienced! You don't get that "roller-coaster" feeling of dropping; it is more like "floating on air".

Q.) Do I need a reservation?
A.) Yes you do. In order for us to best serve you, reservations are essential. Availiability is limited.

Q.) What is a tandem jump?
A.) Making the leap of a lifetime has been made more available thanks to the tandem jump. You will be securely attached to your personal tandem-master who will guide you through the whole experience, enabling you to relax, knowing you are with a fully trained professional. This takes away the anxiety of jumping alone, and helps make your day truly unforgettable.

Q.) Why do people skydive?
A.) There are probably as many reasons that people skydive, as there are people that skydive. For some, it is intensely personal, a challenge met or an obstacle overcome. For others, it is a lifelong dream. And for others, it is a chance to "do the extreme thing" and get their adrenaline fix.

Q.) Can anybody skydive?

Q.) Are you recommended by the united states parchute organisation?
A.) YES - in fact we are the ONLY drop zone in Nevada included in the USPA monthly magazine' Parachutist.

Q.) Will I be scared in the plane?
A.) Most people tell us that they leave their fears on the ground and feel a sense of calm as the plane rolls down the runway. When the door opens at 15,000 feet and you exit the plane your fears will probably have all gone away and the sheer excitement of the adreline you are experiencing will take over!

Q.) Can I get a video & photographs of my skydive?
A.) We can arrange for you to have your personal camera flyer to video and photograph your skydive experience on the ground, in the plane, and to skydive with you to capture your smile in free fall.

Q.) Where do you land?
A.) For obvious safety reasons our landing area is located a short but safe distance away from busy airport traffic.

Q.) What should I wear?
A.) Dress accordingly for the conditions. During the hot summer months, shorts & t-shirts are fine as we provide jumpsuits to all tandem divers. Sneakers are recommended.

Q.) Will weather ever be a problem?
A.) We have the best-reported weather conditions of any airport in Nevada. Rarely does the weather prevent us from skydiving and usually the conditions at the airport are better than on the Strip.

Q.) Is it true you can never forget your first jump?
A.) YES! Your very first jump is one of life's precious memories that will stay with you always. You have met a challenge, faced your fears head on, and have every reason to be proud. You are now in the elite category of skydivers!

Coming from Las Vegas take exit 12 on I-15 south, the Nevada landings exit, turn left under the freeway, turn right at the T junction, we are located on the left hand side of the road, Jean sports aviation airfield.

From Los Angeles take I-15 north exit 12 Gold Strike Casino exit, turn right then right at the T junction, we are on the left hand side of the road, Jean sports aviation airfield

On request basis at time of order. We pick up the Tour Lobby at the Tropican Hotel & Casion.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher

For every confirmed booking you will receive an e-mail with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print vouchers on your home/ office printer. Please present this E-Ticket voucher at the Box Office. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

This tour must be booked at least 24 hours in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12- 24 hours subject to availability.

Cancellation and No Show Policy

Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged a minimum $10.00 per person administration fee. We charge for NO SHOWS. No Shows on tour dates are charged 100%. Some specific tours and activities have a higher cancellation fee due to the limited space available.

Dress accordingly for the conditions. During the hot summer months, shorts & t-shirts are fine as we provide jumpsuits to all tandem divers. Sneakers are recommended.

Weather: Activity may be changed depending on local weather conditions.

Meals, Gratuities and Souvenirs are not included.
